Welcome to the Mechanical Engineering Department of Government Polytechnic, Miraj, one of the premier diploma engineering departments in the Sangli region since its establishment in 1990. With NBA Accreditation valid up to 30 June 2028, the department is committed to delivering quality technical education through Outcome-Based Education (OBE), ensuring that our graduates are industry-ready, ethically responsible and capable of lifelong learning. Our vision is to be a Centre of Excellence that nurtures technologically competent and industry-ready mechanical technicians with high professional values and national concern.
